Alan Feld is the Founder and Managing Partner of Vintage Investment Partners. Vintage is the only active private equity secondary fund and fund of funds in Israel, with approximately US$350M under management under three funds and advisory relationships.
Prior to founding Vintage in 2002, Alan Feld was a general partner at Israel Seed Partners, a venture capital group investing in Israeli-related seed and early stage companies and at Vertex Management III Ltd., the Israeli venture arm of the corporate venture group, the Vertex Group of Singapore Technologies.
Prior to Vertex, Alan was the Managing Director of Evergreen Capital Markets Ltd., which then served as the investment-banking arm of Robertson, Stephens in Israel. In this capacity, he managed private placements and M&A transactions for several Israeli technology companies.
Before moving to Israel in 1994, Alan was an Associate at Goodman Phillips and Vineberg, Toronto, Canada (now Goodmans), one of Canada’s leading corporate law firms. His focus was securities law, particularly public offerings in Canada and United States and M&A transactions.
Alan was the Founding Chairman of the StartUp Jerusalem, a non-profit of Israeli and Palestinian business people helping to foster job growth in Jerusalem. He serves as Chairman of the CRA Committee of United Israel Appeal of Canada and on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Jewish Funders Network (US), an association of leading Jewish foundations, Kolot, a pluralistic adult Jewish education program, and the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem. Alan is also a former Associate Chairman of Canadian Jewish Congress, President of the North American Jewish Students Network and board member of the Canada Israel Committee.
Alan received an MBA from York University in Toronto, an L.L.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto and a B.A. in Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto.
