Uri Shinar is the Founder and CEO of Aniboom.com.
Mr. Shinar is former CEO and President of Keshet Broadcasting, a leading commercial broadcaster in Israel. Mr. Shinar established the grounds for Israel’s first commercial TV channel in a variety of aspects, such as content, business, promotion, marketing and commercial, programming and productions.
Mr. Shinar co-founded Keshet’s media sister companies, including the original comedy channel for cables, Keshet Interactive, initiating new media projects for interrelated mediums of the internet, cellular and interactive TV, and Keshet Formats, creators of original TV formats, some of which were distributed to 25 countries worldwide.
Previously, Mr. Shinar worked as an executive producer in an independent international production company. Among the projects created and produced by Mr. Shinar are animation productions, such as the first animation series that was produced in Israel, and the first animated special (Lights, Animated Hagada), which were distributed worldwide. In addition to TV productions, Mr. Shinar also produced merchandising and by-products.
Mr. Shinar holds MA in mass communication from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
