Amir Shaked, president of Press-sense America, specializes in software and hardware systems and sub-systems for carriers and enterprises.
Mr. Shaked was the CEO of Disksites, Inc., having turned DiskSites around and sold it to Expand within 12 months. While the DiskSites to Expand revenue ratio was 1:40, DiskSites received a 1:6 valuation ratio in the transaction.
Previously Mr. Shaked founded and served as CEO of CeLight, raising $50M in VC funding and repurposing CeLight from long haul optical communications into remote detection of explosives and reaching positive cash flow within 18 months.
Prior to founding CLight, Mr. Shaked served as president of the North America region in Accord Video Telecom until its acquisition by Polycom. During his tenure in Accord he achieved 10X ROI for initial investors and took the North America region from pre-revenue to market leadership in enterprise and carrier space.
Mr. Shaked started his career at Comverse Technology, Inc., where he reached a position of VP and General Manager of Americas Comverse Technology, Inc. and founded the Americas carrier messaging division, establishing Comverse as the market leader in the wireless and fixed network carrier messaging market.
Mr. Shaked has a B.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude) in Computer Science and Mathematics from Tel Aviv University.
