Gili Raanan is a Partner with Sequoia Capital Israel and focuses on internet, services and software investments.
Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2009, Mr. Raanan was a VP of Strategy at EMC working on key acquisitions.
Mr. Raanan joined EMC through the acquisition of nLayers, a company he founded and ran as CEO since inception.
Prior to nLayers, Mr. Raanan co-founded Sanctum, which was later acquired by IBM.
Mr. Raanan held multiple technical and senior management roles at Amdocs and the IDF.
Mr. Raanan was awarded with the prestigious Presidential Israel Security medal.
Mr. Raanan has a Computer Science & Economy degree from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Recanati Business School.
