Ronnie Braun is managing director and creative operation of the Helicon Group, having founded the company in 1985 together with partner Itzhak Alshech. The Helicon Group is involved in all aspects of the musical content industry, from manufacturing to retail and new media, and is the Israeli market leader, handling the recorded music catalogues of Universal and EMI, as well as an impressive stable of Israeli talent.
In 1995 Mr. Braun co-founded Gravity, a cutting edge visual effects house, with studios in Tel-Aviv, New-York, and Toronto. In 2004 Rhinoceros-Gravity, the U.S. operation, was chosen as one of the top ten companies in the U.S. in the area of visual effects.
Mr. Braun was co-founder of Comverse Media - a company founded with Comverse for the purpose of solving issues of content for internet, cellular, ITV etc, which was later absorbed into Comverse, creating the VOICD division.
Mr. Braun started his career in the music industry with CBS Records, Israel and subsequently CBS International.
He has BA in psychology and cinematography from the Tel-Aviv University.
