Dr. Orna Berry has spent over 25 years in science and technology industries, as an academic researcher, entrepreneur, executive and policy maker.
Orna joined Gemini, a venture capital company, as its first Venture Partner in June 2000 and chaired three of Gemini portfolio companies. Orna is the outgoing Chief Scientistand Director of the Industrial R&D Administration of the Ministry of Industry & Trade of the Government of Israel. In this capacity she was responsible for implementing government policy regarding support and encouragement of industrial research and development.
As an entrepreneur she co-founded ORNET Data Communication Technologies Ltd. in 1993. Her duties included raising venture capital, building the company's international infrastructure and managing the sale of ORNET to Siemens.
