Allan (Chanoch) Barkat is a former Partner and Managing Director of Apax Partners in Israel.
Prior to joining Apax in 1995, Allan was Vice President of Marketing and Sales at DSPC and Managing Director of DSP Group in Japan.
He has held a seat on the boards of publicly traded companies including Bezeq following the privatization, Chairman of the Board of Commtouch (Nasdaq), Ceragon (Nasdaq), Fundtech (Nasdaq) and private companies such as EZchip, Wisair, and Fiberxon in China.
Allan holds an MBA from the Kellogg-Recanati Executive Management Program and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology.
